Bellamy Young

Young began her acting career in the field of acting the theater. In 1997, she made her Broadway debut in the role of Mary in the original production of The Life. Also, she played off-Broadway on Stephen Sondheim's musical Merrily We Roll Along (1994) as well as the show of Randy Newman, Faust (1995-1996). The year 1995 was the year she made her television debut as a regular in The NBC daytime soap the show Another World as Dr. Courtney Evans. She appeared in Law & Order as a guest star in two roles in 1997 and in 1998. She made her debut in 1999 in a character on Black and White, a crime drama. Later she co-starred on a number of independent films. Then, in the beginning of 2000s, she began appearing in guest-starring in a variety of television dramas and comedies, such as The Drew Carey Show, The X Files, ER, Frasier, The West Wing, NCIS, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Two and a Half Men, Supernatural, Drop Dead Diva, and Castle. Between 2000 between 2000 and 2011, Young appeared in over thirty television shows. Young was one of the regular actors on Peacemakers the USA Network television series that aired in 2003. Peacemakers was pulled after one season of nine episodes. It was her turn as a character in the Lifetime series For the People, a law-based drama. Atty. Agnes Hunt on NBC drama American Dreams in 2003 as Diane Shaw, Dr. Grace Miller on NBC Scrubs in 2004 as Monica West, Assistant State Attorney Monica West in CBS CSI: Miami in 2005 through 2006 as well as Ellen Darling on ABC soap Dirty Sexy Money in 2008-2009 as the son-in-law with the most eldest in the Darling Family.
