Born from Rochester, New York, Sharp was a music enthusiast and was a clarinet player, piano, and cello at the prestigious Hochstein School of Music. Her enthusiasm for school theatre led her to apply to The Boston Conservatory, where she was awarded an award. Cum Laude, where she received an B.F.A. Sharp began her journey on stage after graduating from the Conservatory. She was part of the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Other stage productions include: Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp read alongside the playwright August Wilson himself. Sharp, who has worked on both the screen and the stage, is also involved in a variety of original projects. A full-length recording is being planned. Sharp also continues to sing. Sharp is an avid fitness fan who enjoys boxing and study Krav Maga. When not being in front or behind of the camera or recording music in studio, she enjoys long journeys, playing piano and hiking. Sharp lives with her spouse and two children in Los Angeles.
