Andrea Anders
Anders was born in Madison, Wisconsin, and was raised in DeForest, Wisconsin, but she currently lives in Los Angeles. In 1993, she graduated from DeForest Area High school in DeForest Wisconsin. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 1997. In 2001, she earned an advanced master's degree in fine arts at Rutgers University. Anders dated Matt LeBlanc from 2006 until 2015. They met on sets of Joey, the cancelled sitcom. Her brother is director Sean Anders (Sex Drive, Never Been Thawed). Anders began working in theatres beginning in 2001. She played the role of an understudy for Mary Louise Parker in the Broadway production of Proof and later, she played her role as Elaine Robinson in The Graduate. In addition, she appeared as a character in On the Jump at the Arena Stage, New Doors at the Guthrie Theater in addition to Two New York Stage & Film performances: Cold/Tender and New World Rhapsody. Anders debuted in Fat Pig, a Geffen Playhouse show. She was the character Jeannie the accountant. Fat Pig closed on July 1st, 2007. Anders appeared in her first commercial on television for Dannon back in the 1990s. Then again, around the year 2006. Anders Most well-known roles include Nicole Allen, a former husband of a professional footballer, on The Class and Joey as Alex Garrett (a lawyer). Both times she was on all the episodes but the shows were cancelled. Anders has also been seen in guest characters in One Life to Live and Law & Order. She has made appearances as an actor in The Guiding Light. Anders was featured in five episodes of the HBO Drama series Oz as Donna Degenhart in 2003, as well as a brief appearance in the film The Stepford Wives, playing her character Heather as well as the film Sex Drive as Brandy. Anders appeared in Numb3rs 2008 as well. Anders has also appeared in two TV pilots that did not succeed. Spellbound and News To Me were the two unsuccessful television pilots. Recently, Anders was cast in Better Off Ted, a single-camera comedy about work created by Victor Fresco for ABC.
